The particular color is the factor that makes the first prize winner attracts attention. But the picture has several qualities that make the eye is hanging on it. The drawing has an exciting composition with surprising details. The picture is dominated by different patterns in bright colors. Both color and pattern 'conflicting directions makes eye chased around in its composition. This is a picture that never brings peace, not least because we wonder what is going on between the characters. The image is being charged with mystery, and the viewer is given reason to ever return to the picture.
